My favorite spot on campus is...

The quad is my favorite place to be on campus, as long as it is not raining or snowing! The quad is a an area in the middle of campus, to relax and enjoy the Louisiana weather. I enjoy getting a Starbucks coffee and relax while doing my homework. This is a great spot to be outside, while in the shade. Overall, the best spot on campus for a good study session in the outdoors.

My advice to incoming students is...

Be involved and get to know new people! Campus life is the best life! There are so many events on campus that keep you busy. I am a member of the softball team, honors, and ambassadors. With these organizations I have a drive to do well in school and be a representative for LSUA. And most of all being involved is a great way to have fun!

My favorite LSUA class/professor is...

NURS 1030, 1031, 1032 Lisa Bradford. Ms. Bradford has been an inspiration to me, and has truly set the bar for nursing students like me. She is encouraging to all students, and teaches the tips and tricks to survive nursing school. Ms. Bradford was my CN1 clinical advisor, and encouraged me through my nervous jitters of being in the hospital. If you are looking for a professor to set you on the right path to success in your nursing journey, Ms. Bradford is a great choice.

I chose LSUA because...

My first impression of LSUA was in the 7th grade. I attended campus for a robotics event, which I was extremely passionate about at the time. During my time spent on campus I was welcomed with open arms and treated like family by the staff. At that moment I fell in love with LSUA! Today I walk around campus enjoying the environment, and love from other students as well as the faculty and staff. LSUA has turned out to be the best experience, and what I thought would be impossible campus has exceeded my expectations.
