I chose LSUA because the first time I walked on campus I felt at home. The atmosphere at LSUA is amazing. The campus has many beautiful places to study. Everyone is willing to help no mater the problem or situation.
My favorite campus tradition is Weeks of Welcome (WoW). The first time I stepped onto campus was during this time as a new Freshman. WOW has became the tradition I look forward to each semester. There are so many events and fun things that happen all over campus that you really can't miss it!
My favorite spot on campus, by far, the second floor of the James C. Bolton Library. As a college student I look for places to study that are quite and space friendly. The study rooms are perfect for that.
My advice for incoming Freshman is to always be yourself. College is different that anything you've every done and in order to succeed you must believe in yourself. If you do not succeed the first time, allow your self to grow and try again. Find a campus support group through friends, organizations, or classmates.
